The first meeting of WaterFinns Project Preparation Group on last weeks Monday was a great success! Thanks to all the people who were present and showed interest in our proposals. We presented three new project ideas and formed groups to promote their preparation. New proposals include Kyrgyzstan, Vietnam and Tanzania.
Now we need more people to bring in their ideas and attend these groups!
You can find short descriptions of the preparation projects from your e-mail if you are a WF member. If you find them interesting, send an e-mail to the group leader and let him/her know of your willingness to be involved. We need enough manpower (and woman-, for that matter) to be sure that we can start preparing full project proposals, so please let us know 31st of Jan the latest.
Getting involved in one of the groups is a great way of learning about the particular countries, getting experience in project preparation and meeting wonderful people!
All groups will report to the WaterFinns Board but are free to decide on the practical working arrangements - if you wish, you can meet regularly face-to-face or just set up an online working space. Don’t be shy, be in touch with the group leaders.
